A member of the JDF allegedly drowned in a swimming pool on Saturday.
The story goes that the staff at the facility suddenly realised they could not find the soldier. After searching they found his body floating in the pool.
First of all, why did they feel the need to go look for a grown man? it’s not like he was a child that needs constant supervision.
Secondly, this man was a member of the JDF. Trained to fight on land, water and air but he was taken out by a swimming pool?
He just went for a swim and drowned? **scratches chin**
Remember this is not a river or sea that is prone to currents pulling you away, this is a pool.
To make things worse this happened in Manchester. One of the three parishes where JDF soldiers have been dropping like flies.
The other two are Clarendon and St Elizabeth.
This case needs to be thoroughly investigated and not just written off as a simple “drowning”.
