A retired Police Inspector is now in custody after he stabbed his wife to death. The name of the victim is Pamela Manning, 62.
The Police force is constantly dealing with its members taking the lives of their spouses. The suspects are usually young men however, this time the person was quite senior.
What could cause two people who should be pensioners now and looking to retire in peace to end up like this?
The fact that he used a knife and stabbed her in the neck also adds a level of viciousness. These two are likely grandparents.
They did not release the name of the retired Policeman because “investigations are pending”.
In the case they should have kept the name and image of the victim private as well, it’s not like they are looking for suspects.
