A JUTC bus driver is dead after he was shot multiple times in New Kingston this morning(24/09/2019).
He was standing beside the company bus when men drove up and opened fire hitting him several times.
The shocking incident happened beside Emancipation Park in the middle of the morning as people went about their business.

The shooting has been linked to the stabbing death of taxi man just yesterday.
That taxi man was called “Keno”. He was attacked and stabbed off Washington Boulevard about 8 PM.
The reports on the ground are that this shooting of the bus driver is in retaliation for the killing of the taximan yesterday.
How the two are connected is not yet known but as more updates come out, I will update the story.
Reprisal killing. One would say an eye for an eye. Such a waste of lives due to unmanaged conflicts. What do I know it’s easier said than done.
