78-year-old Trevour Beeput was caught with an illegal gun in St Elizabeth. Surely the old-timer isn’t an 87 octane! 🙂
Now as if that wasn’t strange enough, grandpa claimed he was going to use it to kill a crocodile!
He declared he was no shotta and was just trying to defend his farm from the crocodile.
It seemed the judge was convinced as he was not given a typical sentence for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
He was instead fined $1.2 million total or face three years if he couldn’t come up with the money.
He got the deal after pleading guilty and not wasting any more of the court’s time.
Look like grandpa is either a great storyteller or the crocodile hunter.
